GUESTS

SUMMER ELOPEMENT
JUNE 2022

THE LOUVRE SET

Jess and Jaiden, high school sweethearts deeply in love, a couple from Australia, wanteda unique and intimate wedding experience. Jess was thinking about a  small celebration in the iconic Tuileries Garden, surrounded by the beauty of Paris. With the help of of the Paris Elopement Package team, their dream of a Tuileries summer elopement with two dear guests (parents) was planned in 3 months.

What Jess and Jaiden asked for? The primary goal was to create an intimate elopement experience for Jess and Jaiden, complemented by the presence of two close guests. Planning a celebration that felt personal, romantic, and authentically Parisian.

PLANNING PROCESS

Here's a glimpse into how the elopement package planning process went:

Step 1: understanding the couple's dream:
At the beginning, we had an email talk with Jess and Jaiden to learn about what they wanted for their special day. They shared their dream of having a small and beautiful Tuileries summer elopement with just a few close friends and family members.

Step 2: booking their package:
Our team booked a date for Jess and Jaiden. Their package included a photographer to capture all the moments, a makeup artist for bridal hair and makeup, an officiant for a ceremony that felt true to them, and help with all the coordination and logistics.

Step 3: choosing the perfect spot - Tuileries Garden:
Because Jess and Jaiden love nature and wanted an iconic location, they picked the stunning Tuileries Garden for their ceremony.

Step 4: timeline and coordination:
We created a timeline 2 days before the elopement, making it easy for guests. Since Jess and Jaiden wanted to celebrate with their parents, we made sure everyone knew what was happening. We helped with taxi directions, making sure their guests had all the details for a stress-free experience. Our officiant met the guests at the taxi drop-off point.

The timeline was following:

5:30-7 AM MAKEUP AND HAIR AT THEIR HOTEL IN PARIS

7:15 AM BRIDE PUTS THE DRESS ON, GROOM CALLS FOR AN UBER

7:30 AM GETTING TO THE CAR AND DRIVING TO TROCADERO

10:00 AM OFFICIANT OLGA MEETS THE GUESTS NEAR TUILERIES GARDENS

10:15-10:45 AM CEREMONY

10:50 AM - CHAMPAGNE AND GROUP PHOTOS

AND THEN CALLING FOR AN UBER BACK TO THEIR HOTEL

Jess purchased additional locations so their photoshoot was pretty long.

MAGICAL CEREMONY DAY

On the big day, we organized a beautiful ceremony in the Tuileries Gardens:

You have the guests invited? Send them this page so they can know what to expect:

You are invited as a guest to a Paris Elopement Package, what to expect?

1. When it's time for the elopement ceremony, you, as a guest, need to prepare and head to a special spot picked by the couple. We suggest arriving 10-15 minutes early to make sure everyone is there on time. Don't worry if the bride and groom are running a bit late; sometimes, they decide to do a first look or take some extra pictures on the spur of the moment.

2. Our officiant, the person leading the ceremony, will be there to greet everyone, including you as a guest. We'll help guests gather around the area where the couple will be saying their vows.

Once the ceremony concludes, it's time to celebrate with champagne and capture lasting memories through group photos.

FAQ FOR THE GUESTS

Curious about when everything begins?
Elopements happen early in the morning, and we plan our timelines based on the latest weather forecast. The bride and groom will send you a detailed timeline 2-3 days before the date, ensuring you're in the loop.

Is there a dress code?
Wondering what to wear as a guest? Feel free to chat with the bride and groom about it, they appreciate personal choices. Some couples have a color scheme, while others ask to wear some type of formal dress or suit. Generally, semi-formal cocktail attire works perfectly.

How do we get to the ceremony place?
For directions to the ceremony, the bride and groom will provide addresses and transportation information. Uber is the quickest way to navigate Paris. We kindly ask guests to be as independent as possible when calling an Uber. This small favor helps the couple, especially on their busy wedding day. Dear parents, we request you to download the Uber app in advance to save the couple valuable time during their photoshoot. We hope you understand – it's all about making their day smoother. Our team will arrange to meet guests at a specific location while the bride and groom travel in our car. Usually, the ceremony officiant is there to greet you where Uber drops you off.

So what happens during the ceremony?

During the ceremony, you'll experience a classic elopement wedding with opening remarks, the couple's love story, heartfelt "I do's," ring and vow exchanges, the official declaration of marriage, the first kiss, and the symbolic certificates signing. And of course, there's a champagne toast to celebrate the joyous occasion!

How should we stand or pose to look great in photos?

Worried about where to stand and where to look? No need to stress – we've got you covered. The couple will decide who stands where, and we'll guide you on standing symmetrically on both sides, ensuring a picture-perfect ceremony.

Do guests come with the couple for their photoshoot?

No. Once the ceremony wraps up, the couple will head off for their photoshoot. As a guest, you have a couple of options: you can head back to your hotel to unwind, or you can make plans for lunch or breakfast.
