Rose & Noel

WHEN FOOD AND COFFEE LOVERS ELOPE

EARLY AUTUMN ELOPEMENT
SEPTEMBER 2022

THE LOUVRE SET

Names: Rose and Noel
Occupations: Rose is an industrial chemist, while Noel is a psychotherapist
Interests: Travel, food, wine, coffee

Rose and Noel, an extraordinary couple from Ireland, decided to turn their elopement into a beautiful journey. They share a love for travel, food, coffee, and wine, so what better place to elope than the City of Love?

In September 2022, with no audience except the birds at Tuileries Gardens, they said I DO.

Why elope? Rose said, "We want the day to be about us, not Aunt Gertrude's opinions."

PLANNING PROCESS

Decision to elope:

Rose and Noel, best friends and partners in crime, decided they wanted their special day to be all about them. No fuss, just pure love.

Destination dreaming: With a shared passion for travel, they set their sights on the romantic city of Paris. Tuileries Gardens became the chosen spot for its timeless charm and a castle view.

Date: September 13, 2022 marked the beginning of their forever. A crisp autumn morning in Paris, the perfect setting for a love-filled adventure.

Style: Rose and Noel decided to wear beautiful formal wedding attire, a white dress and a classic black tuxedo. Comfort and style, because walking down the aisle (or garden path) should be a perfect moment. Once in a lifetime.

Vendor selection: Minimalism was key. A local florist for a simple bouquet, a photographer to capture the magic, officiant included in the package and a nearby café for post-ceremony coffee and croissants.

Their elopement wasn't just about the day, it was a celebration of their unique love story, an adventure that started with two best friends deciding to make every moment count.

TIMELINE

5 AM - MAKEUP ARTIST ARRIVES. BRIDAL HAIR AND MAKEUP. GROOM GETS READY

6:30 AM - PUTTING THE DRESS ON
6:40 AM - CALLING FOR AN UBER
7:00 AM - PARIS PHOTOSHOOT BEGINS
8:50 AM - CEREMONY AT TUILERIES
UBER BACK TO THE HOTEL

As you can see, when a couple chooses Tuileries for their ceremony location, we schedule the photoshoot first. Because Tuileries gardens open later, but Trocadero photos must be taken right at sunrise, to avoid crowds. With the Tuileries ceremony, we swap photoshoots and vow exchange.

All our couple elope during sunrise:

Why always a sunrise?

1. Less crowded. Early morning is generally less crowded than later in the day. You'll have the opportunity to capture iconic landmarks like the Eiffel Tower or the Louvre without large crowds.
2. Lighting. Sunrise is the "golden hour" for photography. The soft, warm light during these times enhances the colors and textures in your photos.
3. Atmosphere. Paris is often referred to as the "City of Love," and a sunrise photoshoot can capture the romantic essence of the city. Empty streets, trees and flowers, just the two of you in Paris.

Morning is the best time of day for capturing elopement photos.

TUILERIES WEDDING CEREMONY

Rose and Noel picked Tuileries gardens for their elopement because of the view:

Here are some questions that Rose asked about the ceremony and how we answered them.

Rose's question: How long does a ceremony typically last?
Our answer: Elopement ceremony is 15-20 minutes. With vows, it's a solid 20 minutes, without, we're rocking a 15-minute express version. Just the right amount of time to say I DO and get to the celebration!

Rose's question: What do we need to bring on the day of the elopement?

Our answer: Essentials for the big day: rings for the bling, vows for the feels. We recommend getting a pretty ring box and vow books from amazon or etsy.

Rose had even better idea and got a mini Eiffel Tower as their ring box:

Rose's question: Do we need an officiant, and how do we find one?

Our answer: No need to search for an officiant like it's a hidden treasure. Ours is included in the package!

Rose's question: Do we need witnesses for our elopement?

Our answer: You can invite some guests if you like, but it's not necessary. You can be alone, just the two of you, for your symbolic ceremony.

Rose's question: How do we handle transportation to and from the ceremony location?

Our answer: Please use Uber services. We will help with directions.

THE PHOTOSHOOT WE DID
FOR ROSE AND NOEL:

HOW TO PLAN THE SAME
EXPERIENCE AS ROSE AND NOEL DID?

Here are two tips to enhance your Parisian elopement for those who like good food and coffee:

1. Choose to book an additional location: a charming Café for your photoshoot. Paris is famous for its cozy cafés and patisseries. Consider incorporating your love for coffee and pastries into your elopement by choosing a picturesque café or patisserie.

2. Buy macarons. You can also go to a nearby bakery and get macarons as props for your photoshoot:
